CBSE Language Selection

If you get the option to choose between different languages for CBSE Board then I recommend that you go for Hindi Subject.

While choosing another languages would be a good option but most of the times teachers are not skilled to get you a good grasp of the foreign language they will teach you.

If you go for Hindi you get the option to take over government jobs.

CBSE Hindi Help

To get a good result in CBSE Hindi Board Exam, what I did was that I not only practiced in grammar skills but also got myself a personal tutor which would be a helping hand in enhancing my skills further.

It is quite possible that during school exams your performance in this subject is quite low. You should not worry much if you are above the passing percentage during those exams cause you can expect a lot more during CBSE board.

CBSE Hots

CBSE introduced ‘HOTS’ which were meant to be questions requiring higher thinking ability and based more on practical knowledge.

Students who gave their CBSE 2008 exam found HOTS pretty easy.

Students might find that HOTS are the questions where they can score good and take a lead. These questions are usually short and have less total weight as compared to the total marks. However they are quite important.

CBSE Toppers – How do they Study ?

I have met several students who have scored pretty well in CBSE, one thing which is pretty common among them is that they do time management and try to complete as much as possible.

They try to do as much questions as possible they could in short period of time. Making best use of time in school and doing a lot of work themselves without depending on the teacher.

They would be pretty ahead than everyone else in terms of what the average student has studied at school. I met a person who was not preparing for CBSE but ICSE, he is a topper in his school and he revealed to me that he had completed all his course approximately six months prior to the final exam and was now doing his revision.

Though some students might find this difficult to follow but it is possible. Some students lag behind in the beginning and work hard during the mid term and excel in their exams.

Students are given the option to choose their stream in Class XI, this option is made available after their Class 10 result has been announced.

CBSE Revaluation

CBSE offers students to get their answer sheets revaluated in case they think there has been an error during checking.

A student can expect his marks to be increased or decreased. In some cases there might be no change.

CBSE and AIEEE

Students who are able to perform well in CBSE will be able to do well in AIEEE.

Much of the course of AIEEE puts stress on what students have learned in Class 11 and Class 12.

A deciding factor that you would be able to score in AIEEE would be if you are able to implement the fundamentals well.

CBSE Date Sheet

Students can expect their exams to be in the month of March.

This applies for students of Class 10th and Class 12th who would be giving their CBSE Board Exam.

Better to check the website of CBSE (http://www.cbseresults.nic) to know more.

CBSE 1st Standard

A child may get admission in a CBSE Affiliated School when his age is more than 5 years.

If the child is to be admitted in a Nursery Class then he must be more than four years old.

The are minimum age restrictions introduced by the ministry.

CBSE Vs ICSE

If you are looking for difference between ICSE and CBSE then here it is.

CBSE is Central Board while ICSE is Indian Board of Secondary Education. The first one is more easy than the second one. ICSE puts more focus on theory. Students might find it tough to prepare for ICSE as compared to CBSE.

CBSE Xth

Students who are giving their Class 10th CBSE Exam shouldn't worry much as the exam is very easy to score.

Usually practical questions are asked in CBSE rather than just going over theoretical knowledge of the student.

The questions are limited to the one provided in the textbook and values are changed a bit.

Attempting previous year question papers can give you a good idea of how your question paper would be.

CBSE Hindi

Usually what happens with students is that they are not able to score in Hindi tests at school level. This is usually because teachers try to cut marks even when the student is expected to get full marks.

Therefore if the case is that you are performing average at School Level, you would be able to score pretty good.

A number of times students are able to get significantly high marks in Hindi as compared to at school. Reason is that at school level, during the assessment of answers teachers expect you to provide additional information which is not required by the question.

In CBSE Hindi, you would either end up with full marks. There won’t be additional marks for adding additional information.

Incorrect Additional Information might even cut off your score.

Do Check CBSE Sample Papers

There is a huge chance that a few questions given in the CBSE Sample Paper would come up in your CBSE Examination.

This has happened a number of times that questions from sample paper have often come up in examination.

Sometimes questions from Sample Paper can be of a higher level. It is still better that you check the Sample Paper.

Previous Year Papers of CBSE are a must for anyone. Usually values are changed in math and science questions.

  • India
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Kuwait

CBSE is for Central Board of Secondary Education.

It is an education authority which is responsible in prescribing the course for various classes.

Schools in Delhi and some in other states are usually affiliated with CBSE.

CBSE exams at secondary level are given by over million of students.

CBSE Books

Questions asked in CBSE Exam are from the textbook itself therefore

Students should only study from the textbook.

Scanning and Skimming skills are important for a student while studying science.

For Math try to solve all questions as the questions are from textbook only. You can score cent in this subject.

Preparation for Literature should be left in the end. Though if you are exceptionally weak in Literature then try to allot an hour every week for the subject.

CBSE Class XII

CBSE Class XII is the most important stage for you.

These marks will decide in which University you would be able to get admission. Also to study abroad you need to score in CBSE Class XII.

Entrance Exams like IIT JEE require a minimum percentage in CBSE Board Exams and therefore if you are not able to score in CBSE Class XII Exam then you would not be able to give this exam.

CBSE Class XII is more important than preparation for entrance exams. If you are not able to cope with Entrance Exams Preparation then leave that aside and focus on only CBSE Class XII.

Students should already have a good base of Class XI to succeed in Class XII.

Level of CBSE Board Exams

Please note that Opinion might differ from person to person on this.

CBSE exams are much easier than the one you give at school level. The difficulty is less and chances of scoring full in a question are high. Assessment of answers is quite lenient. Usually small mistakes in answers are ignored and full score is given.

Questions asked in CBSE Exam are from the course book itself and minor changes are made.
